[Buddha-l] An Encyclopaedic Tibetan-English Dictionary

Dear Denizens,

I was wondering if any of the Tibetan-reading "members" of this list can 
shed some light on the still-born nature of this dictionary.  Vol. 1 was 
published in 2001.  On the second page (unnumbered) of the Preface one 
reads:  "The third major grant was donated in 1998 by the Agon Shu of 
Kyoto in Japan and it covers the preparation for publication of the 
remaining two volumes, which we hope to complete within two years."  Six 
years have transpired since this was written (in the Spring of 2001), 
and neither of the remaining two volumes has appeared even though 
funding was acknowledged.  Does anyone know what has happened?  Does 
anyone know which embers to stir to get this project completed?
