I think Chavez' recent speech compares favorably with Fidel Castro's 
address to the UN in 1979 in which he said:

"I have not come here as a prophet of revolution, nor have I come here 
to ask that the world be violently convulsed . . . I speak on behalf of 
the children of the world who don't even have a piece of bread."
