Not a good example, actually.  The consequences of bombing and invading 
were obvious to a large number of people (including myself) but not, it 
seems, to those in positions of power.

The consequences of violence are, for the most part, unpredictable. But 
a wasps nest is attacked,  the results are predictable to anyone with a 
grain of common sense.
