[Buddha-l] The Body in Buddhist Practice

Given this recent discussion on the body in Buddhism, it seems
appropriate to ask a question that a student is pursuing, about the
significance of feet in Buddhism. I know about the seven steps at
the Buddha's birth, and the iconology of the Buddha's footprints.
Can anyone suggest resources for pursuing this further?

Thanks,

Whit Bodman
