My heartfelt thanks to all those who expressed support, onlist and offlist,
for the idea that this list should not suppress civil exchange of divergent
opinions. The situation seems to be approaching a resolution -- which the
moderators and participants can explain to the list. It will take a little
time to digest what has happened. This has been an unpleasant situation for
all concerned, and I hope we can put this quickly behind us and get back to
discussing Buddhism.
