[Buddha-l] Buddhism and TV advertising

Has anyone seen the latest? a TV commercial for Kleenex tissue. A spectacled 
guy with shaved head and Buddhist-appearing dull red robes, looking like a 
monk, is first seen righting a turtle that's upside down, then putting a 
goldfish back into the water he jumped out of, and then allowing a spider to 
gently descend from the shingle he got the spider on onto a leafy branch. 
Then he begins to use a Kleenex, and his eyes bulge as he sees the ad: this 
tissue ~~~KILLS~~~ germs.

What a snide gesture.  The old Microsoft computer commercials with 
orange-robed monks were nicer.

I prefer Dr. Z. from Germany in the new Dodge commercials.
