[Buddha-l] Fire department intervention

Spirited discussion on controversial topics is always 
welcome on buddha-l. Flaming is not. There is a feature on 
buddha-l that enables the moderator to set the entire list 
back on moderation for a temporary duration, and I have 
done this in the interest of keeping the number of 
messages down to a reasonable limit.

All messages about Buddhism (including Buddhism and 
politics, whether leftist or rightist) will still be 
approved. After a few days, when everyone has cooled down, 
we'll unset the moderation flags again.
