That's not a very accurate observation. Lance Cousins and Bruce Burrill
tend to focus on Theravada Buddhism, but they are the only ones on this
list. Most of the other regular contributors here usually write from a
Mahayana perspective.

Perhaps because the people who have been writing on the topic are
unfamiliar with their work. I am certainly not very familiar with their
work (except that I know who they are and what their fields are), and I
suppose that is because I am a specialist in Indian Buddhism, whereas
they are scholars of Zen. So thanks for mentioning them in this context.
