I don't know of a Buddhist who subscribes to the idea of "intelligent
design". Come to think of it, I don't know why a Buddhist would care.
I am aware that I run with a strange bunch of Buddhists -- most of them
are scientists and may have adopted Buddhism as their life-style of
choice because it left such things open to be determined by the
individual person and the individual person's own experience.
Now you folks in Idaho, on the other hand, have lots of interest in
"intelligent design" just so long as it isn't more intelligent than the
average Mormon elder.
