A.K.A., charity begins at home?

More and more it is beginning to seem that the less organized and monolithic
and bureaucratic a Buddhist organization is, the better.
Apparently govenment subsidies just add to the corruption:
"Yun added that ample subsidy from the government also line the pocket of
many temples. ``The subsidy alone can make them wealthy without even
offerings,'' he said."
