A number of people have attempted to create OCR software for
Tibetan - but, up till now, even for modern printed material
the accuracy rate is so low that making corrections to the
output takes much longer than it would take someone to type
in the original text from scratch.

If the original is a xylograph print or a manuscript on
Tibetan paper there will be even more difficulties.
